What is everybody's opinion about Shutter Island(New Leonardo DiCaprio movie)? I think the ending was rather tricky, but it definitely was interesting all the way through. In all honesty I have never really seen a DiCaprio movie that I didn't enjoy....opinions anyone??

I really liked Shutter Island, but as you said the ending is tricky. It could really go either way. I kind of don't like endings like that because it leaves me wondering what exactly happened!!!
Okay I dont really think that the ending was that tricky. It turns out he was crazy, then he gets cured. But because of what he said to his "partner" at the end, the audience is led to believe that he would rather die as a good man than live as a monster. And that is why he went with them when he knew they were going to give him a lobotomy.
